Mayor Mark Allen of Washington Terrace, visiting for a related agenda item, thanked the RAMP board and pointed to a playground installed in his city with prior RAMP funding. "Like Sharon said, they're all volunteer on that ramp board and it's a big, it's a big group and they've done a great job for the last 10 years," Allen said. "We also voted last year to continue the ramp process for another 10 years." He added that the playground behind him was part of a past RAMP project and that children were playing on it during his remarks.
