Conifer Chamber previews 50th‑anniversary awards, photo contest and MindFest community wellness event

Beth Schleiner, executive director of the Conifer Chamber of Commerce, and Sandy from the Conifer Area Rotary described upcoming community events at the Conifer Area Council Feb. 20.

Schleiner said the Chamber will mark its 50th anniversary at an April 17 awards celebration and is running a cover photo competition for the Chamber’s printed directory, which mails to about 10,000 households along the Highway 285 corridor. She encouraged photographers to submit images at goconifer.com and said the directory and awards event would recognize local businesses and volunteers. She also previewed larger community events including the two‑day Elevation Celebration in July and the holiday parade with a $500 grand prize for a float.

Sandy described MindFest 2025, scheduled the coming Saturday at Our Lady of the Pines from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as a free community event focused on healthy mind, body and spirit with speakers, yoga, suicide‑prevention resources and family activities; she invited volunteers and sponsors and noted it is family friendly.
