Arborist to assess downtown trees and grates; board plans public presentation and tree walk

Members also discussed recruiting volunteers for a tree inventory effort and noted interest from residents to participate in inventory tasks.
Carl said he would further analyze the collected data before the next meeting and begin preplanning for the public event, with an eye toward a June presentation and a July follow-up for feedback.
Ending: Board endorsed the outreach proposal in principle and encouraged Carl to develop the public presentation and recording plan and to coordinate invitations to other boards and commissions for the June/July timeframe.
