The Trinity County Board of Supervisors approved several administrative items Jan. 29, including a new revenue arrangement for probation services and health-and-human-services (HHS) supervisory positions.
Ruby Fierro, Chief Probation Officer, asked the board to pull a contract item from the consent calendar to summarize changes. Fierro said the county will register probation as an Enhanced Case Management (ECM) provider and partner with local behavioral-health billing to submit claims to Partnership Health. “The projections that we're given is that it would be about a hundred thousand dollars a year of revenue coming in for the services that we already provide, whereas what I'm losing is about 25,000 a year,” Fierro said.
