Santa Rita teachers' union notifies district it is opening contract negotiations

The written notice, signed by Ashley Tripp as “SRTA Negotiations Lead,” said the association’s goals include clarifying ambiguous contract language and working toward a contract that supports staff broadly. The notice stated in part: “In the interest of our students, parents, and community, we look forward to a mutually productive and positive negotiations process with the District.”
