Applicant withdraws zoning map amendment 2025-03, cites sewer and annexation issues

Garrett, who said he resides at 6420 Hampton Knoll Road, told the board the owner was withdrawing because "we need public sewer in order to develop this property," and that the City of Reidsville would not allow sewer service unless the property were annexed and processed through Reidsville's zoning procedures. "So there's no need to take this case any further," he said. Garrett apologized for the late notice.
The chair acknowledged the withdrawal and thanked Garrett for the update. No formal vote was taken on the withdrawn case; the case record was marked as withdrawn and not advanced.
