Danbury to move about 30 students to Rogers Park to relieve overcrowding at Broadview Middle School

The district will notify roughly 30 families and give siblings or families with existing students a choice to stay together; families will receive letters explaining the change and transportation logistics. The superintendent said the change is designed to be minimally disruptive and to avoid the expense and complexity of large-scale redistricting.
Board members and staff described the measure as an interim step to address uneven enrollment patterns while the district studies a 10-year facilities master plan and upcoming capacity changes tied to the new career academy enrollment projections.
