Board approves January minutes by unanimous consent; moves into closed session under state statute

At the start of the meeting the Lake Norman Charter Board "deem[ed]" the January board minutes approved by unanimous consent after no edits were offered, the meeting facilitator announced. The board did not take a roll-call vote on the minutes; the facilitator said they were approved by unanimous consent.

Later, board member Greg moved to enter closed session "pursuant to North Carolina general statute section 143-318.11(6)." Board member Amy seconded the motion. The chair called for a voice vote; members responded "Aye" and the board recessed into closed session.

These two procedural items were the only formal actions recorded in open session during the transcripted portion of the meeting.
