District plans March culture and climate survey; committee to review IXL, DESSA and DIBELS data

Abby Couture and staff said they will prepare a turnaround of the collected data so the committee can review current results and compare them to previous years. The district expects to present results around the April vacation window or immediately after, allowing time to compare trends across multiple cycles.
The data review team will present IXL and DESSA data and explain how those measures, along with DIBELS, inform instructional decisions. "We're looking at March 19 for students tentatively," the staff member said, adding that there may be some wiggle room on timing. The district described this as the fourth year of implementation for the culture and climate work and said the goal is to use the platform as a regular, comparable data source across years.
Committee members said they looked forward to the presentation and praised the staff work to create year‑to‑year comparisons of student, staff and family responses.
