In Docket 5820-DR-100 (staff shorthand in the meeting), the commission approved a proposed acquisition consistent with the commission secretary’s description and subject to the conditions outlined in the staff memorandum. Commissioners also declined to issue a declaratory ruling about whether the proposed acquisition of Elite required approval under the Holding Company Act and whether an exemption would remain following the acquisition; the acquisition was approved under Wis. Stat. § 196.795 subject to staff conditions.
