The commenter said they FOIAed records from the two board members and received only one photograph from one member; the other member denied recording and described their conduct as "goofing around," the commenter said. The caller said one board member's camera had been positioned toward the audience and that the conduct made at least one member of the public feel "intimidated and uncomfortable." The commenter asked the board to review the matter and report findings to the public, suggesting that the conduct could amount to destruction of public records if records were withheld.
The speaker also thanked the board and the county board executive for canceling two committee meetings after an agenda-posting error, saying that action upheld the Open Meetings Act. The remarks were part of the public-comment period; no formal investigation or board action on the allegation was recorded in the March 13 meeting minutes.
