The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine items at the March 12 meeting by unanimous voice vote.
Items approved included minutes from the previous meeting, claims and payroll approvals, the monthly clerk’s report and the monthly treasurer’s report. The board approved a $32,860.20 affidavit payment for Memorial Park to R.B. Jurgens. The commissioners also approved a Baker Tilly agreement for comprehensive-plan work not to exceed $25,000 and renewed an annual drug and health-care cost reporting contract (approximately $2,000).
The board approved a $2,131.47 maintenance renewal with Interactive Digital Solutions for audiovisual and Zoom equipment in the commissioners’ room, accepted an actuarial services agreement (NYHARD) used for state and reporting purposes, and adopted a policy making county phones available to commissioners and optional for county council members with payroll reimbursement if the council member elects the phone.
The board also adopted a resolution to transfer two surplus sheriff’s vehicles to the Town of Cadiz for no consideration, citing Indiana Code 5-22-22-10; the town had adopted an identical resolution accepting the vehicles.
