Council Member Beaumont moved to confirm the mayor's appointment of Tony Bork to Planning Commission position 3, with a term to expire Dec. 31, 2028; the motion was seconded and carried 7-0.
Mary Walsh told council she has lived and operated a business in Monroe for five decades and said she was stepping forward to serve. Council Member Kevin Walker moved to confirm Walsh to Planning Commission position 5 with a term ending Dec. 31, 2028; the motion was seconded and the council voted 7-0 to confirm her appointment.
