Applicant withdraws Miracle RV rezoning request during Brighton public hearing

At a public hearing on Feb. 18, 2025 the applicant’s representative, Mike Miracle, formally withdrew the proposed Miracle RV zoning map amendment. The city clerk confirmed that the notice of public hearing had been posted on the City of Brighton website on Jan. 28, 2025; because notice had been posted, the council opened the hearing to place the withdrawal on the public record.
“Holly Prather, Director of Community Development, told council: ‘The property owner's representative, Mike Miracle, has actually requested a withdrawal of the rezoning application at this time…they no longer wish to pursue the rezoning at this time.’” The council chair then closed the public hearing and no further action was taken.
Because the applicant withdrew the application before council action, the rezoning request is not under consideration at this time. The transcript records the formal withdrawal and the clerk’s verification of public notice; council did not take additional procedural steps, and no vote on rezoning occurred during the hearing.
