Staff and applicant: Tim Brown of Planning & Development said the PUD ordinance’s master plan sheet was updated to reflect the new use (a 60‑unit facility) and that the amendment will proceed to the Board of County Commissioners for ordinance first reading. Dean Burgess, the project engineer from Emerald Coast Associates, was present as the applicant’s representative.
Outcome: The planning commission recommended approval and the motion passed unanimously. The PUD amendment and related ordinance will be forwarded to the county commission for consideration in the county’s ordinance process.
