Board approves district policy and program items, contracts and donations in consent and action items
Summary

At its March 24 meeting the Muskego-Norway School Board approved multiple consent and action items, including federal grant-compliance updates, program guides, a contract review, and gifts and donations, and later convened a closed session for a superintendent mid-year evaluation.

- EDGAR/UGG updates (federal grant administration): approved as presented.
- 2025 Grades K–8 Summer Learning Academy Guidebook: approved as recommended by the Educational Services Committee.
- Early College Credit Program (ECCP) and Start College Now (SCN) course credits: approved as presented.
- Solidaritas on-site clinic contract review: approved as presented.
- Gifts, grants and bequests: the board accepted multiple donations with thanks, including $1,500 to Muskego High School girls soccer (from the Warriors Soccer Booster Club), $6,289.20 and $1,370.72 to Muskego High School baseball (from the baseball boosters) for windscreens and on-deck circles, $3,000 from an anonymous donor to offset forensics transportation costs, $6,889.12 from Blue Line Club Ice Force Hockey for hockey jerseys and equipment, robotics donations including $10,000 from Material Control Solutions LLC and $1,000 each from Boyle Fredrickson Law and PPG via Blackbaud Giving Fund, $2,650 from Friends of Muskego High School Music for band equipment, and $500 to Bailene Elementary from Charities Aid Foundation America.
The board also voted to enter closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to consider superintendent performance evaluation data; the clerk recorded a roll-call vote into closed session: Brett—aye; Bob—aye; Gary—aye; Laurie—aye; Kevin—aye; Casey—aye. The board indicated it would return only to adjourn the meeting.
Several other items were moved through committee and will be brought forward in future meetings.
