The City of Worcester Civil Service Commission on Dec. 16, 2024 approved its Nov. 18, 2024 meeting minutes and certified two eligible lists — one for plant operators and one for police officer entry-level candidates — during a brief regular meeting, Chairman Reg Kramer said.
The approvals were routine procedural actions taken by voice vote. Kramer moved approval of the Nov. 18 minutes “as mailed,” and a second was recorded; the motion carried after commissioners voting “Aye.” Kramer then moved to certify the plant operator eligible list and later moved to certify the police officer entry-level eligible list; each motion was seconded and carried by voice vote with those present saying “Aye.”
Staff member Stacy confirmed there were no additional items for the commission to consider. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn and brief holiday remarks from members.
The actions recorded at the meeting were procedural and did not include discussion of substantive policy changes, budgets, or amendments.
