The motion was seconded and passed on a roll call vote with all present trustees and the mayor voting aye.
During discussion Trustee Malani asked for periodic market cross-checks of cooperative and sole-source purchases to ensure ongoing competitiveness. Staff replied that the village uses RSMeans cost-estimating standards as an industry benchmark for pricing verification.
The board authorized the village manager to execute the contract subject to attorney review and the project will proceed under the approved scope and budget.
