The board authorized up to $106,500 from the discretionary portion of the county's unincorporated tax rate to fund an incorporation feasibility study requested by the Arch Cape Falcon Cove Beach Community Club Inc. County Manager Tiffany Deals told the board the club will contribute $3,500 in dues toward the study and that the funds come from the existing unincorporated-tax pool and will not reduce current road and drainage spending in the area. "This is the final step of what we've talked about numerous times regarding incorporation feasibility study," Deals said. The motion to approve the memorandum of understanding passed.
