Josh Frederick and other planning staff told commissioners the ordinance rewrite process is moving into its public engagement phase. The consultant will lead focus groups on Monday (development community, agricultural/tourism stakeholders) and then conduct a county tour; staff asked commissioners to limit attendance to two members per focus-group session to avoid a quorum on an advisory activity. The commission also scheduled a joint work session with the Board of Supervisors for March 25 to review the consultant—s table of contents and early recommendations.
