Trey said data for 2024 were not yet available on the VA website and that he plans to update the board when those figures are published.
Trey encouraged outreach and public-awareness efforts, noting opportunities such as the Operation Greenlight for Veterans initiative around Veterans Day and an upcoming quarterly service-officer meeting in DeKalb County on March 26. Commissioners commended the veteran-services outreach and discussed local media coverage of the office's work.
Ending: Trey invited commissioners and local media to help spread the word about veteran benefits and outreach events; he said he will return with updated GDX figures when they are released by the VA.
