Council proclaims March Red Cross Month, hears local volunteer tally of last year's activity

I believe we assisted 2 families during those disasters. We also made 43 homes safer by installing 88 smoke alarms... We completed 34 blood drives, collected 666 units of blood within the city in 2024." He also noted Red Cross training activities and support to armed forces and local volunteers.
Mayor presented Hanadel with a proclamation recognizing the Red Cross's community role. Hanadel thanked Onalaska and singled out cooperation with the Onalaska Fire Department and Chief Lehi, and noted an April 12 smoke-alarm event targeting mobile home parks.
