Adams County commissioners approve claims, insurance payments and several purchases

The board approved several equipment purchases recommended by county staff: a mower from Equipment Columbia City for $29,420.38 (lowest responsive bid) and a skid-loader trailer from Indiana Trailer Sales in Decatur for $18,001.08. Commissioners moved and seconded the purchases and declared the motions carried.
Other routine approvals included acceptance of monthly draw amounts reported by county programs: a Mental/Behavioral Health (MBH) draw of $301,085.63 and local road-and-street draws reported at $406,898.80 for February (figure taken from the superintendent's report). The board moved to accept those reports as presented.
