Farmersville Unified board approves second interim budget certification, multiple routine items and Healthy Campus EHR

Farmersville Unified School District trustees approved a series of routine motions at their regular meeting, including a positive certification of the district's second interim budget report and adoption of an electronic health record (EHR) system to support school-based behavioral health billing.

The board voted to approve the district's second interim report and issued a "positive" certification of the district's financial status after a presentation summarizing revenue projections, enrollment-driven funding and planned projects. The board also approved a motion to adopt the Healthy Campus EHR system, which district staff said will be used to document and submit claims under the California Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) capacity grant and related billing activity.

Beyond those headline items, the board carried motions approving meeting minutes and consent-calendar items, the release warrant in the amount of $285,931.99, several student trips and extracurricular personnel, multiple personnel reports and an assortment of agreements and construction change orders.
