Staff noted a small issue during the review: a couple of documents were not accessible to reviewers and the district did not receive an earlier request to make them accessible. District staff said they will correct the accessibility problem and work with WDE to finalize the accreditation materials.
The board reacted positively to the preliminary recommendation during the meeting; no formal action was recorded on the accreditation item because this was a status report of WDE’s preliminary finding, and staff said they will follow up with WDE on the accessibility items.
