During discussion a board member noted the statute citation had been misread; the board amended the citation from the read text to refer to CGS section 10 rather than to section 12. The amended certification motion was approved by voice vote.
The board secretary read the required statement and the board voted to transmit the certification to the Connecticut State Department of Education as required by state memorandum (Connecticut State Department of Education operational memorandum 03-25).
