Monongalia County Commission approves consent agenda, property actions, requisitions and tri‑party agreement

The Monongalia County Commission on March 12 approved routine consent items, personnel hires, property‑related enforcement actions and several requisitions, and authorized a tri‑party property agreement with Monongahela Health Systems and the Monongalia County Building Commission.

The votes were unanimous; three commissioners were present and approved each motion by voice vote.

The consent agenda included exonerations and vouchers across multiple county funds, payroll of $1,828,001.63 and a voucher total reported at $2,310,005.78. County Administrator Renetta McCour presented the consent items for approval.

Under fiduciary business the commission referred an objection in the estate of Mary Lorena Foy to a fiduciary commissioner and gave the petitioner 30 days to file a deposit with the clerk’s office for a hearing. The commission also approved sending a letter to the administrator in the estate of Eunice Mollard directing the administrator to file an annual accounting or waive that right within 30 days and removing the matter from the administrative closure list pending that response; the commission said it would take further action if there is no response after 30 days.
