Board approves purchase of Colombo Building in San Andreas for $2.4 million to house county offices

Marcus Muñoz, assistant CEO, presented the item and said the purchase uses probation funding and will execute a certificate of acceptance and any additional documents needed to complete the transaction. The board voted to purchase the property and approved a related budget transfer; the item was presented as exempt from CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act).
Supervisor comments included congratulations to staff on negotiating the purchase price. The board approved the purchase by vote at the meeting; the transcript shows the item passed without recorded dissent.
