Forest Grove Education Association opens bargaining season; union says membership unity strong

The union representatives emphasized that bargaining is a time to reinforce priorities such as staff supports, equity, and professional growth. They thanked board members and district negotiators for participation and noted widespread engagement among classified and licensed staff.
Board members did not take action on bargaining during the meeting; the remarks were part of public comment and informational updates connected to the district's broader budget and staffing discussions.
