Proclamation and public testimony The court unanimously approved a proclamation proclaiming March 2025 as colorectal cancer awareness month. Miss Casey Murphy introduced her daughters; her oldest, 13-year-old Parker Murphy, read a prepared statement honoring her grandmother (Gigi) and urging timely colorectal screening: "I want to honor my Gigi's memory and keep any other family from feeling that pain ... This is why getting screened for colon cancer as soon as possible ... is best."
