LONGWOOD, Fla. — The Longwood City Commission on March 3 unanimously approved a resolution to carry forward unspent fiscal-year 2023–24 funds into the 2024–25 budget, confirmed two board appointments and passed the consent agenda.
The commission adopted Resolution No. 25-1688, described by staff as a technical budget amendment that moves unfinished projects and their funding from the prior fiscal year into the current budget so vendors may be paid when work is completed. Commissioner Tony Morgan moved to approve the resolution; Commissioner Shoemaker seconded the motion, and the roll call vote was 5–0 in favor.
