Altamonte Springs commission approves three easement releases and three finance items unanimously

The Altamonte Springs City Commission on March 4 approved three separate resolutions to release and abandon water main easement agreements for properties in the Lakeshore at CenterPoint replat and approved three finance items in a single vote.
Resolutions 14-55, 14-56 and 14-57 each authorized release and abandonment of recorded water main easement agreements affecting lots in the Lakeshore at CenterPoint replat (plat book 89, pages 1–13). Each resolution was presented as a public hearing; no members of the public spoke on those items. Commissioners voted yes on each resolution by roll call; mayoral authorization to execute the releases was recorded where specified.
The commission then approved three finance items presented together:
- Authorize the disposal and sale of surplus city equipment to the Town of Eatonville. - Award solicitation ITV-25-004-GR for pool chemicals to Electro Mechanic Industries, Inc., doing business as Verbana, Inc., and to Commercial Energy Specialists LLC. - Waive solicitation and approve Fisher & Phillips LLP as single-source labor-attorney services (SS-25-025-KY).
All three finance items passed unanimously on a single motion and voice vote.
Roll-call votes recorded Commissioner O’Malley, Commissioner Reese, Commissioner Tierney, Commissioner Brunching and Mayor Bates voting yes on the resolutions and finance items. No abstentions or opposing votes were recorded on the March 4 meeting minutes.
