Resident urges approval of Holmen School District referendum to maintain programs

They really value our district in the programming that we have for our students and the many options we offer our students in and out of the classroom. What also became very apparent is the community really respects our teachers and what they provide for our students. They are preparing them for the future and the jobs that are out there in the real world. But all this costs money, a lot of money to do these things.”

The speaker said passage of the referendum is needed to continue current services. “I’m concerned if we don’t pass the referendum that we won’t be able to continue to do the great things that we’re doing each and every day for our students,” the resident said. “The programs and services we’re able to provide, we really wanna be able to continue to do. This is a wonderful district with a wonderful supportive community that sets our students up for the future. And if the referendum passes, we’re gonna be able to maintain those things. The programming, the curriculum resources and technology, the array of choices the students have within their schedule in their day.”

The resident added that the community is fortunate to support children in Holmen and urged approval of the funding measure to preserve current programming and resources.
