Staff also reported progress on a separate schoolwide collection called the "Eagles cash" fund. The school set a goal of $22,000; staff said the halfway point would be $11,000 and announced the current total as $13,479, putting the campaign past its midpoint.
Among individual recognitions, staff identified Tejas Fan as the top collector, with $713.76 raised. Other named student winners included Molly Leonard, Ava Leonard, Finley Schreier, Lola Hyde Keelan, Jasmine Novak, Ivy Johnson, Maya Smith, Donovan Banks, Lisa McClendon, Miguel Garcia Cerna, Nathan Aladogan, Noah Flores, Lily Herman, and Ada Leonard. Staff thanked families, relatives, neighbors and teachers for donations that contributed to the total.
The assembly concluded with staff directing students to return to class. No board action, formal vote or policy decision was recorded during the event.
