Finance committee notes impending appointment of Ryan Nadey; confirmation to occur in appointments section

During the finance committee meeting on March 11, a member of the council asked legal counsel to confirm that Ryan Nadey’s appointment materials had been circulated and indicated Nadey is being considered for a third term.
"Ryan Nadey. This will be his third term. And, did everybody get his information?" the Mayor asked, noting the materials were emailed to council members approximately three weeks earlier. A councilmember who said they had worked with Nadey praised him as "a class act all the way. Always knowledgeable and and generally a very good person." No formal vote to confirm the appointment took place during the finance committee; the Mayor said the formal confirmation would be handled during the appointments section of a future meeting.
The finance committee otherwise had no business on its March 11 agenda and adjourned after the appointment discussion.
