The commissioner said no letter of recommendation from the Planning Commission is needed at this time; the commission was asked only to review the application and provide any suggested edits before the application is submitted to the state.
The commissioner who attended the public meeting reported turnout of roughly 12–15 people and said the community response at the meeting was supportive. The Planning Commission received the application for review and staff asked commissioners to notify staff of any edits to the draft application.
