South Elgin student wins Windy City Bulls jersey contest; proceeds to benefit U‑46 Educational Foundation

Brianna Sanchez, a senior at South Elgin High School, said she won the Windy City Bulls Hispanic Heritage Jersey Contest and that each jersey will be auctioned at the team's Hispanic Heritage Night on March 21.
Sanchez said she included flags of Hispanic countries on her design to represent her heritage. "As a Latina, a big thing for me is being proud of my roots and representation," she said.
She told the meeting that the jerseys created for each player will be auctioned and that proceeds will benefit the U‑46 Educational Foundation. "A portion of the ticket sales purchased from a designated link will go to the U‑46 Educational Foundation," Sanchez said.
Sanchez encouraged attendance at the March 21 game to see the jerseys and support the foundation; she did not provide a specific ticket link during her remarks.
