Commissioners approve 2025 YMCA summer-camp agreement for East Rec and SBU

Shane Parker, Hendry County public works director, presented the county's standard agreement with the YMCA to operate summer camp programs at East Recreation Center and SBU for 2025. "Basically, a wash, rinse, repeat. Same agreement as last year, just change the dates," Parker said.
Commissioner Mitchell Wills moved approval and Commissioner Raymond Iglesias seconded. The board approved the agreement by voice vote.
Parker indicated no new program changes were included in this year's agreement; the contract will be processed under the county's usual procedures for facility use agreements.
