- Planning Commission appointments: Following interviews and a public ranking procedure the council appointed Derek Counts and Ray Silva to four-year terms on the Planning Commission and reappointed Chair Fawn Williams to a new term ending March 2029. Motion to appoint was made by Councilmember Downey and seconded by Councilmember Hooten. Vote: unanimous.
- Measure V Oversight Committee appointments (Resolution 2025-10): Council appointed Brett Freeman, Carlos Ramos and Dave Hughes to the Measure V citizen oversight committee and nominated Bruno Sapatier as committee chair (council approved by voice vote).
- Community project funding request to Congressman Thompson (Resolution 2025-09): Council approved submitting community project funding requests; staff said they will prioritize fire- and water-related projects and draft the application for submittal by the congressional deadline. Motion moved and seconded; vote unanimous.
Ending: Most items passed unanimously. Several items direct staff to return with more detailed analyses or to file closeout paperwork; no item created new taxes or district assessments without further council action.
