A staff member told the Stephenson County committee that the county has not yet received a purchase order from Enterprise Fleet for a planned vehicle purchase for the coroner's office.
The staff member said, "They told me they'd have it to me in the beginning of this week. I still don't have it." The coroner's office and the staff member had been working on obtaining the purchase order but it had not arrived in time for the meeting, so the item remained on the agenda without being acted on.
The absence of the purchase order was presented as the reason no procurement action could be taken. The staff member said the item had been included on the agenda in case the document arrived before the meeting but confirmed it was not received.
Separately during committee comments, one board member discussed the upcoming UCCI legislative conference and who would attend. The board member said they and "Georgia" would be attending but that other members had scheduling conflicts; another speaker added they could not attend due to a conflict.
The committee adjourned at the close of the meeting. Miss Hayes moved to adjourn; Miss McKenna seconded. The motion carried after a voice vote in which members said "Aye."
