Supervisor Spatier said his home is within the 95424 area north of Clear Lake Park and recommended the draft include 95424 so that Windflower Point and adjacent neighborhoods are clearly within the advisory board—s coverage.
County counsel noted the board could approve the bylaws with an amendment or pull the item and return it after the town hall reviews the change. The supervisor said he preferred giving the town hall the opportunity to consider the addition rather than approving the change unilaterally. The board agreed to bring the item back in about two weeks or at the town hall's next meeting, and no formal action was taken at this meeting.
Staff said the proposed bylaws contained an incorrect cross-reference to Government Code section numbering and requested changing the citation to clarify Brown Act references. The board opened the item for public comment and received none; the item was closed for later reconsideration.
