Votes at a glance: Roswell council reappoints commission members, approves consent agenda and site-plan amendment (March 10, 2025)

The Roswell City Council on March 10, 2025, recorded unanimous votes on a series of reappointments and consent items and approved a separately considered site-plan amendment for Grand Reserve at Litchfield Phase 4.

Reappointments (each approved unanimously 6-0): Joaquin Jadiz to the Construction Board of Appeals (motion by Council member William Mortland; second by Council member Lee Hills); Mary Nichols to the Historic Preservation Commission (motion by Council member Christine Hall; second by Council member Alan Sells); Jason Fraser to the Planning Commission (motion by Council member Lee Hills; second by Council member William Mortland); Pooja Gardner to the Planning Commission (motion by Council member William Mortland; second by Council member David Johnson); and R. McCarthy to the Recreation Commission (motion by Council member Sarah Beeson; second by Council member David Johnson). Council members voted to administer the oaths of office for present appointees.

Consent agenda: Item 2 was pulled for deferral (motion by Council member Alan Sells; second by Council member Christine Hall). The council then approved the remaining consent items (1, 3, 4, 5 and 6) by a unanimous vote (motion by Council member David Johnson; second by Council member Alan Sells).

Separate action: The council also approved the revised site plan for 9935 Old Chadwick Lane (Grand Reserve Phase 4) with conditions; see separate article for details. That motion was moved by Council member Will Moreland and seconded by Council member Lee Hills and passed 6-0.
