The Port Richey City Centennial Committee set a deadline for sponsors to be included on printed shirts and top-tier printed materials: sponsors must commit by noon the day after the meeting to be placed on shirts and the primary flyer level. Committee members said the cutoff gives the printing vendor time to finalize artwork and produce shirts and printed materials.
Committee members clarified the distinction between receiving sponsorship funds and appearing on printed materials. The group agreed to keep accepting sponsorships after the cut-off but said those sponsors would not be guaranteed placement on shirts; staff said later sponsors could receive digital recognition and social-media mentions.
Committee members noted a presenting sponsor level would be placed on the flyer if a sponsor met the previously discussed $20,000 threshold; the committee agreed that presenting-sponsor artwork would be added if a commitment arrived before the noon cutoff.
Members also discussed logistics: if a sponsor arrives after the deadline, staff will still accept the funds and apply the sponsor’s recognition in digital materials or future print runs, but not on the initial shirts or printed banners. The committee asked staff to proceed with the current shirt mock-up if no presenting sponsor commitment was received by the stated deadline.
