Upcoming events listed to the board included a Bigfoot experience program on March 27 at 5 p.m., aimed at older children and families, and a Murfreesboro Little Theater production of Dragons Love Tacos on April 2 at 10 a.m.; staff said the theater visit is funded by a grant and has no cost to the library.
Weekly offerings include Family Story Time Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Books and Babies Thursday at 10 a.m. for birth–24 months, Lego Fun for ages 5–12 and adult crafts (Strings and Things). Staff said they continue to circulate special passes to the Discovery Center and to the Smyrna Outdoor Activity Community Center (SOAC); each pass covers admission for up to four children and two adults for a one‑week checkout.
Staff said many programs are free to participants and that summer reading programming benefits from the library’s program budget, which supports performers, craft supplies and materials.
