Later in the meeting, Commissioner Ellen was nominated to serve as vice chair; that motion also passed by voice vote.
The election is an annual item. Commissioners discussed whether anyone wanted to serve before motions were taken; Hank said he had not been chair previously and noted one scheduling conflict next month. No roll-call tally was recorded in the meeting transcript; both officer selections were adopted by general voice vote with no recorded opposition.
