Committee passes HB 1017 to dissolve greenhouse-gas sequestration task force (bill passed unamended)

House Bill 1017, HD1, relating to the Greenhouse Gas Sequestration Task Force passed committee action Tuesday unamended.

Jimmy Tokioka of DBEDT stood on written testimony in support. Committee chairs said the measure removes an existing law as part of broader housekeeping and policy adjustments. No members present objected and the recommendation to pass the bill unamended was adopted.
