Commissioner Rogers asks to place two rezoning resolutions on next voting session

Rogers described the first resolution as a request to rezone property at 6785 Georgetown Road NW from C-1 (bridal commercial district) and FAR (forestry, agriculture and residential) to I-1 (general industrial). He referenced the parcel as identified in the meeting packet: tax map 01AParcel026.01026.003. "This 1 passed, was approved unanimously by the, Bradley County Regional Planning Commission. I ask that this be placed on the next voting session," Rogers said.
The second resolution is a request to rezone property at 159 Hollow Road from FAR to R-4 (residential mobile home park and travel trailer park district). Rogers referenced the tax-map identifier included in the packet (059 Parcel 044.070.044.000) and said the rezoning also was approved unanimously by the planning commission. He asked that it be placed on next week’s voting session as well.
No public hearings, staff reports, or additional materials were discussed during this meeting; Rogers referred members to pages 3–6 of the agenda packet for maps and supporting material. The commission did not vote on the rezoning requests at this session.
