Board approves multiple infrastructure payments, bids and smaller equipment purchases

Trustees also approved a recommendation to reduce the letter of credit for Laurel Springs (Edition No. 1) by $103,512, leaving approximately $34,500 to cover remaining street-tree work at the site.
Capital projects and bids approved included: a sewer utility service truck purchase (not to exceed $118,275), award of the final lift of asphalt on TID No. 7 to Stark Pavement Corporation ($174,334), and award of the 2025 Hickory Lane reconstruction contract to Vinton Construction Company ($2,156,363.50). The Hickory Lane contract includes storm sewer installation and a package approach that will allow future lateral connections on Linden, Ashland and Hawthorne; trustees confirmed the contract also includes provision for an Eagle Drive parking area related to the dog park.
The board approved pay request No. 8 for the Jackson Community Center expansion project to Moore Construction Services for $296,154.90. Trustees approved these items after motions from committee representatives; most were approved by voice vote with no recorded roll-call tallies.
