The Greenwood Advisory Planning Commission on March 10 was notified that petitioner Fisher Barber Homes withdrew application PC2025-013, the Robinson Property annexation and zone map change, and that the item would not be heard.
Planning staff told the commission that "earlier today, they sent a request to withdraw this petition. So it has not been heard yet," and that as a result the item was withdrawn from the agenda. Staff later explained the applicant had filed for annexation and the staff report and public notices were prepared, but the petitioner chose to remove the application. "So in the future, if anyone were to reapply, they would have to go through that same process of sending out public notices and having a meeting. But right now, it's as if they never, submitted their application. They removed it," staff said.
A commission member asked for clarification: "Could you tell me what happened to 13?" Staff confirmed the withdrawal and said the petition had been removed at the petitioner’s request.
Because the application was withdrawn, there was no public hearing or commission action on PC2025-013 at the March 10 meeting. If the petitioner re-files, the annexation and zone map change will require new public notices and a future hearing.
