On outreach, committee members planned a mixed approach: an online survey, direct outreach to civic groups and staffed booths at community events. Dylan, a committee member leading outreach, reported he was "gathering that data from what people are saying" and asked for volunteers to help contact civic organizations; several committee members offered to assist. Committee members identified the Red Fern Festival and a Tahlequah roundtable scheduled for April 15 as near-term opportunities to collect input and to publicize the forthcoming survey. Jeremy from the Tahlequah library offered the library’s connections and meeting schedule for outreach, saying any help with getting information out is something “we do.”
